- You know, it's really not hard to go to ProCyclingStats and actually look this up on your own. You'd see, for example, that he won the Giro della Regione Friuli Venezia Giulia (2.2) right after winning the Tour de l'Avenir in 2018. You'd also see that he was a solid U-23 rider with a lot of top 5s and 10s in 2017, He won the Giro della Lunigiana (2.1) in 2016 when he was 18. These are perfectly normal races to win at that age (now Paul Seixas at 18? that kid is on another level). Again, the results are there to be found, you just have to use data rather than make assumptions.
- This certainly changes the racing in the mountains. Let's see how UAE adjusts.
- I suppose if you're definition of a bully is a person such as Pogacar, you are leading a pretty charmed life.
- The UCI has got to look like it's doing something, or else we'll all realize how counterproductive they are!
Abolish the UCI!
- I'm not sure why anyone would want to listen to anything that comes from the mouths of people like Roxanne Knetemann or Marijn Abbenhuijs after the highly immature and inappropriately distasteful things that they had to say about Bryan Coquard last week.
- Assuming Pog is at the same level as back then, which isn’t necessarily true and disregarding that Jonas had practically zero racing experience at that moment. Wout also always improves sprinting a lot over a few crucial weeks
- Where is that information from? Also his VO2 should be a little higher because he’s smaller than Pogacar.
- MG is like LA but confidential
- I suppose the haters like Roxanne would say that could not make it as a pro. Well no real wins of note so just stir the pot for the Dutch team. Sad really as Pog is nice guy no bad words for people.
- Fast-twitch IIa and IIx fibers muscle fibers (white fibers) used for sprint, can be selectively stimulated to grow by different specific training devices like plyometric training, but the time between Dauphine and the TdF is admittedly a little short.
