Thomas Gloag ready to take on the Tour de Romandie as Jumbo-Visma announce their line-up: "I look forward to seeing how far I can get"

Jumbo-Visma have announced their line-up for the upcoming Tour de Romandie with 21-year-old Brit Thomas Gloag set to be front and centre for the team in yellow and black.

“I am trying to learn as much as possible from experienced riders like Primoz Roglic or Robert Gesink. Their daily routines, preparation before training, and recovery afterwards," says Gloag who has just returned from an altitude training camp in Tenerife told Jumbo-Visma's official website. "The level was incredibly high, but I really enjoyed it. I hope they will do very well in Italy, and I have a lot of confidence in them.”

"There is one real mountain stage, and I look forward to seeing how far I can get," Gloag continues, previewing the Tour de Romandie. "I have also been working hard on my time trial. I will have to put in a lot more effort in the future, but I am excited about the two-time trials in this race.”

Jumbo-Visma for Tour de Romandie:

Thomas Gloag, Rohan Dennis, Steven Kruijswijk, Robert Gesink, Jos Van Emden, Gijs Leemreize and Tobias Foss.
