The three teams that Colombian media report as possibilities for Nairo Quintana's future

Nairo Quintana is still without a team in mid-April. The Colombian cyclist, sanctioned by the UCI in the last Tour de France after testing positive for tramadol, left Arkéa-Samsic through the back door.

The Colombian was key to the French team's promotion to the WorldTour after scoring a large number of points in the three seasons he stayed with the squad. Now, he could do it again if a ProTeam team decides to acquire the services of the rider from Cómbita.

According to the Colombian press, three teams have been rumored in the cycling market to acquire the services of Nairo Quintana:

- Israel - Premier Tech: They have been invited to the Tour de France, but their 2023 season, like 2022, is going modestly with leaders who struggle to perform. They continue to use a big part of their budget on Chris Froome who has in sporting terms not been useful for the team.

-TotalEnergies: Another team that bet on an old glory like Peter Sagan and same result. Advertising performance, but not sporting. They are also in great need of a rider capable of scoring regularly in WorldTour races if they want to take the next step.

- EOLO-Kometa: Although Alberto Contador's brother denied interest, the Colombian press continues to insist that the Italian team could end up signing Nairo to get points that will make it eligible to ride the Tour de France in the coming years.
