Talented French puncheur Thibaud Gruel will step up to WorldTour with Groupama-FDJ in 2025

Talented puncheur Thibaud Gruel will turn professional with Groupama-FDJ in 2025. The 19-year-old rider, who currently competes for the development team, has committed to the French WorldTeam until the end of 2026.
"I am very happy to announce that I have signed a WorldTour contract with Groupama-FDJ," Gruel said in a press release. "It doesn't change my ambitions for next season. The goal remains to perform well and win races."

In 2023, his first year with Equipe continental Groupama-FDJ, Gruel won a stage of the Circuit des Ardennes (2.2). Later that year, he impressed even further with fourth place in a stage with uphill sprint of the Arctic Race of Norway.
