Remco Evenepoel, Robbie McEwen, Alberto Contador and more send congratulations to Mathieu van der Poel after sixth Cyclocross World Title

For the sixth time in his illustrious career, Mathieu van der Poel stands on top of the cyclocross world after victory at the World Championships in Tabor on Sunday.

Following his dominant victory, the Dutchman took to his official Instagram to post a picture of his celebration with the caption, "Job done." Such a display of greatness was sure to inspire many within the cycling world and some notable names replied to van der Poel's post offering congratulations.

"Congrats brother," says world time-trial champion, Remco Evenepoel, long-time rival on the bike and friend off of it of van der Poel, with legendary sprint star, turned Eurosport analyst, Robbie McEwen commenting "King of cycling."

Among others, the likes of Gianni Vermeersch, Alberto Contador and Sente Sentejns also spared the time to send van der Poel congratulations.
