Talented climber Alexy Faure-Prost joins Intermarché-Circus-Wanty on a three-year deal

Intermarché-Circus-Wanty continue to bear fruits of their work with youngsters via 2023-funded continental feeder team Circus-ReUz-Technord. Alexy Faure-Prost becomes third rider of the formation will make the step into the WT team in 2024, following Roel van Sintmaartensdijk and Francesco Busatto.

Faure-Prost broke onto the professional scene in an impressive fashion, winning two tough high-rated Belgian amateur races, before proceeding to impress with 22th at Mercan'Tour, 5th at Giro Next Gen, 2nd at Valle d'Aosta until, finally, the French rider became domestic U23 champion.

"I had a fantastic first season in the U23 category. I even received the opportunity to race with Intermarché-Circus-Wanty, which has given me the confidence that it might be possible to sign a pro contract starting from 2024. I know that joining the World Tour is a serious step up," Faure-Prost said in press release.

"The idea for 2024 is to join the World Team to discover the pro calendar and to pursue my learning process, and at the meantime also continue racing with Circus-ReUz-Technord. I know that the level in the World Tour is very high, so racing with the pros regularly will boost my physical development. It will also be important in terms of learning," he explains.
