"Tadej Pogacar is of course the favourite, but as a team we hope to do well with Enric Mas" - Nairo Quintana hopeful ahead of stage 2 at Volta a Catalunya

Nairo Quintana faces today in the second stage of the Volta a Catalunya 2024 a climb he knows well, that of Vallter 2000. The Colombian of Movistar Team insists one more day that he is not in good shape after overcoming the coronavirus and makes it clear that he comes to the race to be Enric Mas' support rider:
