With the 2023 cycling season over, we are now in the time of the exhibition races and this morning the traditional Saitama Criterium, organized by the Tour de France, took place in Japan. Tadej Pogacar took the victory.
Some of the best riders in the world were present at the event (it pays very well) and the finish was decided by a breakaway in which Tadej Pogacar and Sepp Kuss were present. The Vuelta a España champion tried on a steep climb, but couldn't hold off the Slovenian in the final meters. Ahead of the peloton, Peter Sagan closed the podium.
