Startlist Faun-Ardèche Classic 2026 | Riders: Jorgenson, Seixas, Bernall, Healy, Scaroni, Morgado and Christen present

The Faun-Ardèche Classic is the first of two one-day races in the southeast of France that take place in the weekend that begins on the 28th of February. The race is a good test for climbers and classics specialists ahead of a key period of the spring. We take a look at its startlist.

The race was created back in 2001 and throughout its first years had winners from countries such as Algeria and Moldova, quickly capturing an unusual international reputation. However it quickly began to build a strong reputation with winners such as Jean-Christophe Peraud, Christophe Riblon and Arthur Vichot...

Many of France's best are present in the race's palmarès in recent years such as Romain Bardet, Lilian Calmejane, Rémo Cavagna, Davis Gaudu, Julian Alaphilippe and most recently in 2025 Romain Grégoire - the Frenchman won the sprint after several riders went the wrong way in a roundabout.

Hence there is no shortage of talent predicted to be part of the race as teams like Visma, UAE and INEOS headline. Paul Seixas, Matthew Riccitello, Egan Bernal, Marc Hirschi, Lenny Martínez, Quinn Simmons, Mattias Skjelmose, Ben Healy, Christian Scaroni, Matteo Jorgenson, Jarno Widar, Jan Christen, António Morgado, Romain Grégoire and Victor Lafay are all expected at the start.
