According to State Secretary in the Prime Minister's Office Jure Leben the government had already held preliminary talks with Tour representatives, including three possible routes with one of the stages arriving on Vršič, mountain pass on the slopes of Slovenia's highest peak Triglav.
"We will begin discussing all the conditions and other implementation details with the organizers after the letter of intent is handed over on July 27," said Leben.
