Demi Vollering has once again proven herself as the most formidable general classification rider in the women's peloton. Taking the victory on the final stage of the race on Saturday afternoon, Vollering secured the Red Jersey win for the second year running.
On the final climb, the fight came down to a four-way battle between
FDJ - Suez leader Vollering, her replacement at
Team SD Worx - Protime Anna van der Breggen, former teammate
Marlen Reusser and EF's Cedrine Kerbaol. Van der Breggen, who started the day 2nd on GC controlled the pace for the most part, but proved unable to crack her rivals, before Vollering surged clear in the finale to the stage win.
“My team was incredibly strong, and I felt like we were in control the whole time,” reflected Vollering proudly in her post-race interview, paying tribute to the rest of the
FDJ - Suez team in her first Grand Tour since arriving at the French outfit at the start of the 2025 season.
