Sam Welsford a late replacement for Team DSM at Paris-Roubaix

Recent Scheldeprijs runner-up Sam Welsford had been drafted in by Team DSM as a late replacement for Leon Heinschke who misses Paris-Roubaix due to sickness.
The 27-year-old Australian will be making his debut at the Hell of the North but given his impressive early season form that has including a pair of stage wins at the Vuelta a San Juan, victory at the Grand Prix Criquielion and the aforementioned second placed finish at Scheldeprijs.

Alongside Welsford, Team DSM can boast a team that includes 20-year-old Dane Tobias Lund Andresen, Dutch duo Nils Eekhoff and Tim Naberman. 2015 Paris-Roubaix winner John Degenkolb, Alberto Dainese who will also be making his Paris-Roubaix debut as will Czech rider Pavel Bittner.
