Fierce competitors on the bike, including most recently, at the Vuelta a Espana earlier this year, it seems Romain Bardet and Remco Evenepoel are both heroes to the Frenchman's son.

Posted to the story of his official Instagram account, Bardet shares images of his son, potential star of the future, riding around, not as you may have expected in a Team DSM-Firmenich jersey like his father, but of a Soudal - Quick-Step, Belgian national champion's jersey.

Seeing these images, Evenepoel re-shared them to his own Instagram story, with the caption; "Glad he likes the present my friend." A lovely touch from the Evenepoel, showing his star power, even amongst the families of his rivals.
