Prize Money Vuelta a Espana 2024 - Full guide to how €1.119.960 will be split between teams

The Vuelta a Espana starts on the 17th of August and finishes on the 8th of September. It is the final Grand Tour of the season and, like every year, it will feature a luxurious startlist packed with climbers, sprinters and classics riders looking for their final opportunity to win big in a Grand Tour. Here is the prize money available.

A grand total of €1.119.960 will be distributed between the teams present in the race, who will be racing for not only very prestigious glory on the road, but also for a very important financial benefit the race provides. The GC classification winner will be receiving €150.000, whilst the rest of the podium gets €57.985 and €30.000 respectively. Points and Youth classification winners win €11.000, with KOM winner pocketing €13.000. The victor of the team's classification wins €12.500. Every day the stage winner takes home an extra €11.000. The overall classification leader will every day receive €500. The points classification and KOM classification will receive €100 whilst the best young rider in the GC will receive €70 daily. This adds €16.170 to the prize money handed out.
