On the 29th of September 2024 the road World Championships find it's great climax. The men's Elite Road Race will take place in Zurich, Switzerland, with a route that is very open and should see the classics specialists as the big favourites to fight for the win.
The route will be 276 kilometers long and suited to the endurance monsters. Long hours on the bike and a punchy circuit make for a challenge not too different than Glasgow. The start will be in Winterthur and then the riders will find seven laps of a punchy circuit with a categorized climb that has 1.9Km at 6.2%, and a few more small hilltops.
