PREVIEW | Vuelta a Andalucia 2025 stage 5 - GC explosion on final key day of the race?

From the 19th to the 23rd of February we have one of the most important Spanish stage-races of the season. This will be the Vuelta a Andalucia, taking place in a warm part of the country, always with a mix of explosive stages that traditionally attract the climbers and classics riders a lot. We preview stage 5.
The first half of the final stage is rather brutal, with a very long ascent right at the start of the day and then three other climbs where attacks can happen. A day with a flat finale in La LĂnea de la ConcepciĂłn but the overall classification will be the main topic of the day with the start that the riders will have at hand.

- the NBA finals are about to start now. in the conference finals 2 of the smallest market teams competed for a spot to compete against the knicks - San Antonio and OKC. As an NBA fan and Bulls fan, the salary cap gives the illusion of parity. but when a team does not go all in, or their scouting is terrible, or they accept mediocrity, then teams like the bulls will continue to suck.mij31-05-2026

- Hey, did anyone check if she didn’t lose something along the way like a bottle holder, if there was water stuck in the frame, if she changed a wheel, if a mechanic did something before the race? Was it the only bike that got weighed? Fact is, rules are rules and when you’re found out it’s hard to not apply them as it sets precedence for others (but Wiebes wasn’t punished and I’m only 20g under her bike, and then another is 20 under that new, etc. That’s why a limit is set in the first place, for everyone to have the same reference. To be honest, if I was at 6,83 pre-race I’d feel pretty stressed knowing that it’s the ORGANISERS scales that count and there can be discrepancies. I would have added like Tadej, BEFORE the race which obviously excludes disqualification. By all means, protest against severity and inconsistency but remember that ultimately the responsibility lies in-house. That said, it’s interesting to note an Italian was just behind, reminds me of when Merckx was caught « doping » at the Giro but only when he already had a huge time gap on 2nd.Mistermaumau31-05-2026
