Polti returns to cycling with Alberto Contador and Ivan Basso

The Polti company, leader in steam applications for ironing and cleaning, has decided to support the professional cycling team led by champions Ivan Basso and Alberto Contador from 2024, coinciding with the 45th anniversary of the company.

In addition, Polti will also sponsor the under-23 and youth teams for the next three seasons, until 2026. It has not been confirmed that it will replace EOLO as the main sponsor of the current EOLO-KOMETA; This support from Polti consolidates and gives continuity to Basso and Contador's cycling project, marking the company's return to the world of international cycling after having been an absolute protagonist in this sport for 17 years, from 1983 to 2000, with the Italian Team Polti.

The Polti Group, immersed in an international expansion, is a leader in European markets such as Italy, Spain and France, and is looking to grow in countries such as Benelux, Germany, United Kingdom and Northern Europe, where important cycling competitions are held.

The project represents a synergy of values between Polti and the cycling teams, seeking to generate pride and participation among all parties involved. Champions Basso and Contador express their satisfaction and motivation to count on Polti's support to develop their cycling project.

Francesca Polti, President and CEO of Polti SpA, expresses her vision for the future in which the company's tradition is maintained and seeks to create a real synergy with the cycling team, which will share the company's values in its competitions.

The formal presentation of the project will take place in September, where more details of the agreement between the team and Polti will be revealed. With this exciting sponsorship, Basso and Contador's team is expected to achieve great success in the coming seasons of international cycling.
