Kevin Vauquelin will make his return to competition, after he had to give up during the Tour de Romandie at the end of April. Tour de Pologne will therefore be an invaluable opportunity to test his condition ahead of his big goal - La Vuelta a Espana.
Vauquelin had a great start to the season with a 4th place overall at the Etoile de Bessèges, followed by wins at Tour des Alpes Maritimes et du Var and Tour du Jura. On this Tour de Pologne, he will be accompanied by Kevin Ledanois, Michel Ries, Lukasz Owsian, David Dekker, Dan Mclay and Clément Russo.
Kévin Vauquelin spoke about his recovery, on his team's website. "Pinning a bib on my jersey, this ritual of the professional cyclist that I had missed for many weeks, will resume this weekend on the Tour de Pologne, UCI WorldTour event."

"I want and hunger for competitions, because I was deprived of them for a long time due to an injury. I know that the competition will be high, but I am animated by a great motivation for my recovery. I want to gauge myself, test myself, after a good altitude camp at Isola 2000 with the Arkéa Samsic team. I know that I will face parcours that will suit me in Poland," concluded Vauquelin.
