Part of the Wolfpack since 2013, Pieter Serry has extended his contract with the team until the end of 2025, when he will be 37. In his eleven years so far with Soudal Quick-Step, Pieter raced a total of fifteen Grand Tours – including the 2022 Vuelta a España, where he played a solid role in Remco Evenepoel’s memorable triumph.
"I’m really happy that I will stay in the team for the next two years, until the end of 2025. I am very proud to be part of this amazing squad. I have a lot of great memories from all these years, including Remco’s victory at La Vuelta, last season. I hope that in the next two years I can help him win another Grand Tour," Serry said in press release.
"Pieter is a great member of this team. He’s always there, riding his heart out for the squad, and at the same time, he is a great person, and this too means a lot in a cycling team, because without a good atmosphere and a strong morale, those many wins wouldn’t be possible. We agreed instantly on a new contract and it makes us happy he will continue his solid career with us, as he’s such an important part of our group," Soudal - Quick-Step CEO Patrick Lefevere added.
