French team TotalEnergies have gotten a wildcard for the Vuelta a Espana and they will be trying to get success through it. The French team is chasing stage wins and bring a lineup with a wide variety of riders.
Pierre Latour is perhaps the most notable name, in the absence of Peter Sagan and Anthony Turgis. The French climber rode to second on the Puy de DΓ΄me at the Tour de France from a breakaway and will continue to search for success in the mountain stages. Steff Cras, who abandoned the Tour when sitting in 13th spot. He may try to fight for the GC in Spain this upcoming month, but if not there will be plenty mountain stages for him to discuss.
The lineup includes classics riders Dries van Gestel, Geoffrey Soupe, Paul Ourselin, Thomas Bonnet and Alan Jousseaume who will likely be riding through breakaways on the flat days, whilst Fabien Doubey will be aiming for the hilly stages.
