Pauline Ferrand-Prévot expected to join Visma | Lease a Bike in 2025 as INEOS Grenadiers refuses to set up a women's team

After two seasons as INEOS Grenadiers’ only female rider, Pauline Ferrand-Prévot is set to join Visma | Lease a Bike in 2025 as she eyes a return to road after many years spent chasing her Olympic dream in MTB, WielerFlits report.

It was recently announced that Ferrand-Prévot will retire as a mountain biker after next summer's Olympic Games. And her record in the discipline is not a bad one. She became world champion four times in the Olympic XCO. She also added two European titles and two world titles on the Short Track, the shorter format.

Ferrand-Prévot has been competing for INEOS Grenadiers since October 2022, with which she is working towards the Olympic mountain bike competition this summer.

The French lady expressed earlier that she wouldn't have been opposed to continue in colours of the Brittish formation, but as there don't seem to be any plans of setting up a women's team for 2025, Ferrand-Prévot has to look elsewhere. That means Ineos Grenadiers will continue being one of the few men's WorldTour teams not to have a women's equivalent.
