INEOS Grenadiers want to get back to the top, and for the first time since 2019, the British team is undergoing title sponsor changes. From the 2026 Giro d'Italia onwards, there will be a new jersey and with the goal of returning to the top of the sport and winning the Tour de France once again, also a new name: Netcompany INEOS Cycling Team.
“I’m really pleased to welcome Netcompany to the cycling team, establishing a new long-term partnership that will help create the right conditions to deliver more success," team CEO Jim Ratcliffe said in a press release. "This collaboration brings additional resource, technology and capability across performance and operations to give the team the ability to compete consistently at the highest level of the sport.”
For several months now there had been rumours of a new sponsor coming in, reportedly with a €20 million euro a year budget that would be distributed over the span of five seasons. In total, a €100-million euro investment from the logistics company. This also comes with a new jersey to be debuted at the Corsa Rosa, shown in the announcement video.
From the 2026 Giro d'Italia onwards, INEOS Grenadiers become the Netcompany INEOS Cycling Team and the sponsor will remain until the end of the 2030 season. It is expected that Netcompany will replace INEOS as a title sponsor in 2027, whilst TotalEnergies will also rise to title sponsor status - after it became a minor sponsor from the 2025 Tour de France onwards.

What is Netcompany?

The Danish company works in the market of logistics and extensively uses and develops an AI program called PULSE. This is used in management and logistics fields. In Denmark, it developed a new debt collection system for the Danish Tax Authority and a new communication platform for Denmark's schools; whilst it also provides services for some of Europe's largest airports.
The partnership is also going to benefit the British team when it comes to decision making and logistics managing, in a sport where the smallest of details can make the difference.
“As a leading European AI technology company fighting for Europe’s digital sovereignty, joining forces with the most successful cycling team of the modern era and the UK’s only WorldTour team is a unique opportunity," Netcompany CEO André Rogaczewski added.
“This partnership supports our strategic ambition to accelerate growth across Europe by demonstrating the impact of cutting-edge technology and AI at the highest level of sport. Together, we aim to enable smarter decision-making, strengthen competitive advantage, and help the team in winning the Tour de France again.”

Geraint Thomas and Dave Brailsford eager for new partnership

“I’ve seen first-hand how much the sport has evolved. But what hasn’t changed is the importance of doing all the basics well and paying attention to the tiny details. That’s what ultimately leads to success on the road," Geraint Thomas added.
“From my side, it’s about creating an environment where riders can focus fully on racing, while the team around them is connected and making the best possible decisions. If we get that balance right, it will make a real difference when it counts.”
Team principal Dave Brailsford also commented on the move, which he argues "is about creating the conditions to win the Tour de France". This would be a significant step for INEOS who have in the 2010's dominated the Grand Tour scene, but in recent years fell behind teams such as UAE Team Emirates - XRG, Team Visma | Lease a Bike, despite maintaining its high budget.
“This is one of the most significant partnerships in cycling - a real vote of confidence not only in our team, but in the sport itself. It’s a major moment for us and marks the beginning of a new chapter [...] This is more than a sponsorship it’s a partnership with purpose. It brings long-term stability, giving us the platform to invest in performance over time - building the foundations to win, and keep winning".
