Blink and you'll miss it. On Christmas eve Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team have officialized their 2025 lineup and it is the most exciting in it's existence after the huge signing of Tom Pidcock. However amongst the riders announced is Joe Pidcock, Tom's brother who hadn't until today been confirmed.
CyclingUpToDate had received information over the past two weeks that the team had reached an agreement with the British rider, however no news had been made public of it. That was the case until today, when the team shared a post on social media confirming the 25 riders that will wear the team colours for the upcoming season.
Alongside Tom Pidcock, who signed a three-year deal with the team, is his brother Joe who comes from Trinity Racing. The British continental team is ending this year and the 22-year old hadn't yet signed a deal with any team despite his potential. He has raced for Groupama - FDJ's development team before racing for Trinity as well, and won a stage at the Ronde de l'Isard this year.
Alongside him come the signings of Pidcock's coach Kurt Bogaerts and soigneur Xenia de Roose, both whom were removed from INEOS Grenadiers' staff list last week as reported by Daniel Benson. This also does not come as a surprise, as the British multi-discipline star has long had trustworthy staff that works with him specifically.
“At the end of a year you always look back and reflect but I am looking ahead. How could I not? The Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team will embark on a great, new adventure with the addition of our new riders and staff," team manager Doug Ryder said in a press release.
"Last week we came together in Spain for a first team camp. It was great that we could finally start the preparations for the new season in earnest. This camp was more of an integration camp, getting to know each other, and about season planning.
"With the addition of Tom Pidcock, the team’s ambitions change undoubtedly but the team philosophy of Ubuntu – I am because we are – is more alive than ever. I am very proud of this team and very enthusiastic about the future we have together. For now, I would like to wish you happy holidays and look forward to the year ahead.”
