Movistar Team and Cafés Baqué join forces to promote youth cycling in Spain

The world of cycling in Spain is preparing for an exciting chapter with the union of two giants of the sport in the country. Movistar Team and Cafés Baqué have announced their alliance to support and promote youth cycling in the 2024 season and beyond.

The news represents a milestone in Spanish cycling, as it unites two structures with a long tradition in the sport of two wheels. Movistar Team's commitment to local and grassroots cycling has remained constant throughout its history, and now extends to the collaboration with Elkar Kirolak, a school that is closely linked to Cafés Baqué, a team with an impressive track record that was founded in 1978.

This long-term collaboration agreement guarantees the support of Abarca Sports, the company behind Movistar Team, to the Cafés Baqué men's and women's youth teams. Both teams will benefit from this alliance, which will allow for the further development and growth of youth cycling in Spain.

Cafés Baqué's young cyclists will have the support of several of Movistar Team's sponsors, including the use of Canyon bicycles as the official bikes, as well as 226ERS nutrition products. In addition, the iconic "M" of Movistar, one of the main sponsors of Abarca Sports, will appear on the official clothing of both teams, further consolidating the union between these two teams.
