Unfortunately we have to report @harry_sweeny will not start today due to covid. While still negative during yesterday's test by the race organisation, he had symptoms this morning and was retested by our doctor. This test showed he has covid. Wish you a speedy recovery, Harry 👊

Lotto Soudal's Vuelta a Espana team are continuously loosing riders, as they set to the start of the second week down to five riders. Australian Harry Sweeny was the third rider to abandon, with a Covid-19 infection to justify.
Sweeny tested positive this morning, the day after teammate Jarrad Drizners tested positive. Steff Cras had also previously abandoned the race several days early due to a crash on the second day of the race.
