Lorenzo Milesi abandons AlUla Tour on the last stage due to a fall 25km from the end

Lorenzo Milesi's first steps as a Movistar Team rider have not gone as the talented 21-year-old Italian rider had hoped with his signing. In the last stage of the AlUla Tour, he was the victim of a crash 25km from the finish that caused him to drop out of the race.

The news has been brought forward by Movistar's own X -formerly known as Twitter- account, explaining that, although Milesi managed to get up quickly from the fall, the pain caused by it forced him to stop to be treated.
