Dutch prodigy, Tibor del Grosso has improved on his 2nd place from last year to take victory at the under 23 Cyclocross World Championship in Tabor.
Despite a big crash almost as soon as the race got underway, the pre-race favourites all managed to navigate the first lap unscathed. It didn't take long for Dutchman Tibor del Grosso to start stamping his authority on the proceedings, attacking clear of challengers Emiel Verstrynge and Jente Michels on lap 2.
Despite Verstrynge mounting a brave effort to keep on touch, the relentless pressure being on at the front by del Grosso was simply too much for his Belgian chasers. Victory was del Grosso's with Verstrynge pipping Michels in the battle for second place.
