- There is a very good reason for a race like this, no doubt you won’t be able to think of it. We know for you cycling is all about climbing but not everyone is like you and not every rider specialises in climbing. In fact, if cycling were limited to climbing it would be extremely boring too (and Tadej would be winning less). - The UAE tandem Pogi/Torito should build a slight gap on the climbs, and then collaborate to maintain that gap to the finish. The gap should be enough to make MVDP burn his matches bridging it. Easier said than done.FredMan21-03-2026

- I dont think this is correct. The only rider that may be avoiding is Remco & Roglic because of Redbull planning. Pogi is the only constant across all monuments and TDF. MDVP and Wout are doing the cobbled classics, Mads is injured. Other than Jonas the rest are irrelevant for the TDF and he is going there. For Ardennes, Remco/Roglic should be there but the redbull schedule is to avoid star clashes. Same with Del Toro, he is redundant if Pogi is thereabstractengineer21-03-2026
