Good morning and welcome to the liveblog of the Giro d'Italia. Today marks the 3rd stage of the race and also the final day for the caravan on Bulgarian soil. The route features two very distinct parts and once again promises aggressive racing, constant attacks and plenty of tension inside the peloton. - Erm, normally you fall because of someone IN FRONT, for sure a front wheel incident is far more critical than a back wheel issue or a side nudge so it’s actually pretty normal falls don’t happen in the front line but front behaviour does have repercussions further back. In amateur cycling front riders even still call out dangers for those behind who might not be able to see, not so sure with the pros.Mistermaumau10-05-2026
