The stage is set for another exciting edition of
Kampioenschap van Vlaanderen, as a strong and star-studded field prepares to line up on 19 September 2025 in Koolskamp. This classic one-day race will cover approximately 180 kilometres, looping through West Flanders in a demanding test of sprinting, endurance and tactical nous.
In recent years, Kampioenschap van Vlaanderen has been consistently ruled by fast finishers, with the sprint often deciding the outcome in Koolskamp. The 2024 edition saw
Tim Merlier take the win in his European Champion’s jersey, overtaking Arvid de Kleijn and Jasper Philipsen in a tight dash. The year before, in 2023, the honours went to Philipsen, who edged out Dylan Groenewegen and Fabio Jakobsen in another show of raw speed and perfect timing.
Competing for victory this year will be notable names such as the likes of: Max Kanter, Gleb Syritsa, Dylan Groenewegen, Luka Mezgec, Max Walscheid, Tomas Kopecky, Arvid De Kleijn, Phil Bauhaus, Alberto Bruttomesso, Soren Waerenskjold, Itamar Einhorn, Riley Pickrell, Emils Liepins, Matteo Moschetti, Giacomo Nizzolo,
