The road leads from Brakel to Haacht on 20 September 2025 for what promises to be a compelling edition of the SUPER 8 Classic. See the startlist for the race right here!
The race will cover about 200 kilometres, winding through Flemish Brabant, Hainaut, and Walloon Brabant before finishing back in Flemish territory. Riders will face a rolling course with roughly 15 classified climbs, the final of which (Hulstbergstraat) is positioned around 20 km from the finish line. Recent editions of the SUPER 8 Classic have seen a variety of winners, many of them capitalising on late-race strength and attrition through the climbs. In 2024, Filippo Baroncini claimed his first professional victory with a solo move. Before him, in 2023 it was Mathieu van der Poel taking the win.

- It's not a big blow for Pogacar. Today, Pogacar relies on a close, increasingly Slovenian circle of experts. Among them, the central figure is his longtime friend Ziga Jerman, who took on the role of masseur in 2025. Jerman has known Pogačar since before his global fame, when they cycled together at the Ljubljana club Rog, so Elguezabal’s departure does not pose a threat for Pogi but rather marks the end of a very successful chapter. First, Remco must graduate from high school with excellent results to meet with the professor Pogacar in university and to be in same room with him.
