Jumbo-Visma has won stage 2 of the Vuelta a Burgos, the second day of racing was a team time-trial and the Dutch team managed it the best.
They were one of the first favourite teams to cross the line but their time was never truly threatened afterwards. The 13-kilometer race against the clock was not completely flat, and the hilltop finish proved a problem for many teams, who had riders waiting in the final minutes, with big gaps opening as they had to wait for their fourth rider.
Jumbo have taken 19 seconds on Movistar Team who finished second and 29 on BORA - hansgrohe. Primoz Roglic has won 33 seconds on Adam Yates, perhaps the two biggest favourites for the race entering the Spanish event.
