Former pro with teams like Katusha or Androni Giocattoli, Jhonatan Restrepo, has been linked with Alberto Contador's EOLO-Kometa. The 28-year old Colombian spent last season with Gianni Savio's GW Shimano-Sidermec at Continetal level.
Restrepo impressed with a victory at new Italian race Giro della Città Metropolitana di Reggio Calabria (1.1) where he beat some strong riders.
Other two names connected with the future of EOLO-Kometa should two breakaway experts - Davide and Mattia Bais. Both appeared in action ahead of the peloton multiple times in this year's Giro d'Italia, the younger of the two - Davide made himself a big name when he won stage 7 with a finish on Gran Sasso and briefly wore Maglia Azura for the best rider in mountain classification.
