Ramon Sinkeldam has become the sixth rider of the day to abandon the 2023 Tour de France on an equally brutal and hectic stage 14.
After a massive crash that brought half the peloton to the floor and the whole of the race to a complete standstill, abandons were expected to follow and sadly they have indeed. The latest of which, deprives the Green Jersey Jasper Philipsen of one of his key lieutenants with Sinkeldam being forced to call it a day and abandon the race.
