On Saturday, Quinten Hermans won the fourth stage of the Baloise Belgium Tour. The Belgian rider from Intermarché - Wanty - Gobert Matériaux took the win on the queen stage of the race and climbed up the GC.
"First we wanted to send someone with the breakaway who wasn't too far away... so then we had to go to plan B and that was to attack halfway through the race with the whole team. That worked out well. Everyone did a fantastic job. I have to give a special thanks to Lorenzo [Rota]," said Hermans. He is currently third in the general classification behind Tim Wellens and classification leader Mauro Schmid.
After his second place at Liège-Bastogne-Liège the 26-year old showed that he's back to strong form, and will be taking it into the Tour de France in the coming weeks.
