In the absence of Tadej Pogacar, UAE Team Emirates takes new leaders to E3 Saxo Classic - Wellens, Politt and Morgado lead team in the cobbles

Tadej Pogacar is absent from the cobbled classics this year, not taking part in the Tour of Flanders or the other classics including the E3 Saxo Classic. In his absence, the team presents a new set of leaders including Tim Wellens.

The team features Tim Wellens who has performed greatly over the Opening Weekend with a second place at Kuurne - Bruxelles - Kuurne, and helped Tadej Pogacar at Milano-Sanremo. He's joined by Nils Politt who was second at Omloop Het Nieuwsblad, and António Morgado who impressed into second at Le Samyn.

The team will have more modest ambitions surely as the likes of Mathieu van der Poel and Mads Pedersen are also present; not only Team Visma | Lease a Bike. Marc Hirschi and Mikkel Bjerg could be an interesting outsiders whilst the lineup is completed by Michael Vink and Ivo Oliveira.

Mikkel Bjerg, António Morgado, Marc Hirschi, Ivo Oliveira, Nils Politt, Michael Vink and Tim Wellens.
