In conversation with
Ekstra Bladet from the
Soudal - Quick-Step camp on the eve of the 2024 Vuelta a Espana, the 29-year-old Dane revealed he has already secured a contract for next season. "Yes, I know that (where he'll be riding ed.)," Asgreen tells the Danish outlet, although he doesn't reveal where just yet. "The team themselves would like to publish in a press release what is happening. So I can't say anything about that."
The long rumoured suitors are Tudor Pro Cycling Team and although Asgreen doesn't divulge if there is any truth to such talk, he reveals he never doubted he would find a good move upon leaving
Soudal - Quick-Step. "I actually took it in stride. My agent has been more nervous than I have been. He has complained a few times that I took it in stride when he wasn't quite so calm," he laughs. "But I thought that it would probably work, and that I probably wouldn't have to go from house to house."
