Note: Riders do not usually keep the prize money. It is distributed among teammates and staff.
When it comes to teams, the contribution of Primoz Roglic saw no doubts regarding which team would get payed the most. Around 20% of the entire prize pool of the Giro was taken by the Dutch team, although the gap here wasn't as big as both Thymen Arensman and Laurens de Plus contributed for INEOS Grenadiers €227 thousand euros. UAE Team Emirates, Bahrain - Victorious and Team Jayco AlUla followed, whilst Green Project-Bardiani CSF-Faizanè was the last team in the standings with just over €13.000 euros.
