The
Giro d'Italia has brought big changes to the
UCI classifications. In the 2023 rankings,
Primoz Roglic has climbed to second place following his win at the Giro d'Italia, whilst a few other riders climbed up the standings.
Roglic is now in second place to Tadej Pogacar, being the second rider to go above the 3000 points. With the extensive amount of points won throughout the race
João Almeida raced to 7th place in the rankings,
Geraint Thomas is now 9th and
Thibaut Pinot is 12th. Whilst his scoring wasn't as high, Ben Healy also took further points and is now 8th in the classification.
