Before this season,
Harm Vanhoucke made a surprising choice to many by leaving
Lotto Dstny, the team he's been a part of since 2018, to see how things work elsewhere, and signed for
Team DSM. However after a promising start to the season (10th at UAE Tour), Vahoucke didn't seem to find his ground and eventually agreed on a mid-season transfer back to his origins.
Last year he switched to Team DSM, but by mutual agreement the rider will now return to Lotto Dstny where he signed a contract until the end of 2024. "I got warm memories of my time in this team," says Vanhoucke, "and I’m very happy to return to this family. I'm making a fresh start here and want to be the rider I was before."
