Gorillas will stop sponsoring Jumbo-Visma after 2024

Flash delivery company Gorillas will not continue as sponsor of Jumbo-Visma after 2024. According to insiders the German company was bringing up to five million euros to the team's budget. The company was taken over by Getir at the end of 2022.

Jumbo-Visma briefly explained the situation to WielerFlits: "There is an agreement that we will of course honor in accordance with the agreements."

With Dutch supermarket chain Jumbo who also won't continue as the main sponsor, the team is looking for new sponsors. With a roster including names like Wout Van Aert, Primoz Roglic or Jonas Vingegaard, this shouldn't be a matter to them however. Even more since remaining sponsors, Visma and PON, promised to cover the extra expenses in worst scenario.

The team is now in talks with various multinational companies to take over the main sponsorship. While there have also been talks with various larger Dutch parties.
