Giro d'Italia: Updated GC at the end of first week, with Remco Evenepoel back in pink

As expected, Remco Evenepoel has regained the maglia rosa after the long time trial of the Giro d'Italia, although he gained less advantage than expected, leaving the overall completely open.
Thus, the Belgian is less than a minute ahead of what seems to be his main rivals for the final victory in Rome: Primoz Roglic, Geraint Thomas (who is now second) and Tao Geoghegan Hart.
Joao Almeida is now fifth after a discreet time trial, although he will have to be counted on in the remaining 2 weeks of competition. Norwegian Andreas Leknessund remains in the top 10 after defending in the time trial and Aleksandr Vlasov, Damiano Caruso, Lennard Kämna and Pavel Sivakov close the top positions.

- They couldn’t convict him criminally because he paid up to escape it (that weird American possibility that ensures not all are equal before the law). He was convicted civilly but technically for committing crime. I on the other hand live in a country where unexplained damage to a baby in your care in theory leads to minimum 5 years of prison, if you admit an accident it’s more lenient but telling the truth that you don’t know how a bump on the skull happened exposes you to the as much risk as some who murder and rape.
