The abandonment of Alexandr Vlasov (confirmed by BORA not to be coronavirus related) has caused even more changes in a Giro d'Italia general classification that Geraint Thomas now leads following Remco Evenepoel's departure.
The top of the GC is incredibly tight: Primoz Roglic is at 2 seconds, Thomas's teammate Tao Geoghegan Hart at 5, Joao Almeida at 22 and former Maglia Rosa Andreas Leknessund at 35. Further, but under two minutes, Damiano Caruso and Lennard Kämna appear. The top 10 are closed by Pavel Sivakov (another INEOS Grenadiers rider), Eddie Dunbar (ex-INEOS) and Thymen Arensman (Another INEOS!). Eleventh, Laurens de Plus, is of course also INEOS.
