Final Points Classification Standings after Stage 21
Paul Magnier seals the points classification at the 2026 Giro d’Italia, finishing on 200 points after a superb race that included three stage wins and consistent scoring across the three weeks. Jonathan Milan’s final-stage victory in Rome lifted him to 153 points, but the Italian’s late surge was not enough to threaten Magnier’s grip on the maglia ciclamino.
Guillermo Thomas Silva completes the points podium on 99 points, ahead of Andreas Leknessund and overall winner Jonas Vingegaard, whose five stage wins also carried him to fifth in the classification. Final King of the Mountains Standings after Stage 21
Giulio Ciccone seals the mountains classification after a relentless attacking Giro, finishing on 277 points and holding off Jonas Vingegaard, who ends just 11 points behind on 266 after his five stage wins and repeated high-mountain dominance.
Einer Rubio completes the KOM podium on 164 points, ahead of Felix Gall and Jardi Christiaan van der Lee. Jai Hindley, Diego Pablo Sevilla, Derek Gee-West, Igor Arrieta and Jack Haig round out the final top 10, but the blue jersey belongs to Ciccone after a race built on repeated breakaways, summit sprints and his decisive points haul in the final mountain stages.

Final Youth Classification Standings after Stage 21
Afonso Eulalio wins the youth classification after defending his lead through the final mountain stages, finishing 1:13 ahead of Davide Piganzoli. The Bahrain Victorious rider had come under serious pressure from Visma’s Italian climber late in the Giro, but held firm on Piancavallo and reached Rome with the maglia bianca secured.
Piganzoli finishes second after an excellent Giro inside Visma’s dominant mountain unit, with Mathys Rondel completing the young rider podium at 5:33. Johannes Kulset takes fourth, while Igor Arrieta rounds out the top five ahead of Giulio Pellizzari, whose difficult final week dropped him to sixth in the classification.

- It's weird to say Evenepoel would be making a "serious mistake by adding the 2027 Giro d'Italia to his calendar, warning that such a decision could even be interpreted as a lack of confidence in his ability to win the Tour de France." It may well be a mistake but with so many commentators (of all sorts) continuously claiming almost everything Remco does as being a mistake, almost nobody should care what the pundits and the disparagers should say. His team may not want him to do the Giro, and that matters. But it's possibly or probably up to Remco to decide and it may not have to be decided on until a month or so ahead of the race. Yes , Remco is inconsistent much like the majority of the best riders but he's enjoying a period of not having been recently injured (or sick).
