Giro d'Italia 2022 Team Prize Money Ranking

The Giro d'Italia has come to an end and it is time to look back on what was an edition that was fought until the very last day. Jai Hindley has amounted the biggest amount of prize naturally after his maiden Grand Tour win, and that has propelled BORA - hansgrohe into the top step of the team's ranking.

The values below were account by ProCyclingStats. (note: the prize for AG2R Citroën Team and Israel - Premier Tech is not available, but they were the two teams that took the least amount of prize money from the race.)

BORA - hansgrohe have had the overall classification piling on the biggest amount of prize, however with Emanuel Buchmann finishing seventh, Lennard Kämna taking a stage win and Wilco Kelderman's performances in the opening week, it consolidated their top prize with €346.645.

Richard Carapaz' INEOS Grenadiers and Mikel Landa's Bahrain - Victorious came second and third with €180.363 and €159.666 respectively. Trek - Segafredo took major profit from Juan Pedro López' performance, whilst Intermarché - Wanty - Gobert Matériaux stormed to fifth place with a sixth and eighth place in the final overall classification, aswell as two stage wins.

Via secondary classifications and combativity awards, both Drone Hopper - Androni Giocattoli and Bardiani-CSF-Faizanè managed to overcome several World Tour teams - whilst EOLO-Kometa also benefited from Diego Rosa's stint in the KOM jersey.
