The 75th edition of the Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana is approaching, and MARCA has managed to confirm the presence of prominent cyclists in the first stage, which will start next January 31 in Benicàssim.
Among the favourites for the final victory in the port of Valencia, the presence of Pello Bilbao, leader of Bahrain Victorious, stands out. The Basque cyclist seeks to improve his fourth place in last year's edition and consolidate his position as one of the leading riders in the competition.
Another national bet for the general classification is Oier Lazkano, who will lead Movistar Team on the roads of the Comunitat. Alongside the Spanish champion, Alex Aranburu will play a leading role, promising to liven up the fight for stage victories. In this competitive scenario, the threat of BORA stands out, with Alexander Vlasov, winner of the Volta in 2022, Jay Hindley, winner of the Giro 2022, and the complete Lennard Kamna leading the German squad.
The competition also presents other intriguing alternatives, such as the participation of Jay Vine with UAE Team Emirates or the debut of Jonathan Milan with Lidl-Trek. These ingredients promise a Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana always exciting and disputed, with consolidated stars and new faces that add excitement to the race.
