Nobody complain when Team Sky dominate everything! Why they complain when UAE dominate everything?
Just seems like it because Anglos dominate any English language website as they can’t express themselves on any others. They automatically think the Website is Anglo territory so it fills with pro-Anglo or team rider fans who are thus contra non Anglo. And, as most sportsfans are predictable they’ll pick a countryman over a personality. Very few people practice the art of staying fair or neutral where nationalities are involved.
It’s always surprised me how these kind of people reconcile things in their mind or choose between those countrymen riding for foreign teams or foreigners riding for national teams. I think most play it, they await the results before cheering for the better option :-)
I don't blame UAE for doing a Team Sky, dominating every races they enter. But, they are not unbeatable. It's not like they are in full force into this event anyway
UAE at it again looking for easy points against lesser teams. They win enough against the big boys without having to take away smaller teams chances.
It's far from UAE's best lineup however. But, it seems you should have kept that negativity elsewhere. It's not like they are aiming to win every events they are enter. Those riders they line up are fringe riders at best. So calm down, Susan.
Fringe riders like Adam Yeats!
Typical idiots would say. Leave him alone!
I don’t want to be too cynical but I’ve seen a lot of things happen in the world of deals and money making so it wouldn’t actually surprise me if some people use the points system to influence which other teams can get them.
Imagine there’s a small team of interest that can survive if they gather their points but you can make that harder by sending your B-team wherever they try to succeed, forcing them towards relegation. How much are you going to save on all those contract seeking riders you were seeking?
