Soudal - Quick-Step have unveiled their official line-up for the upcoming Tour de Hongrie with their star sprinter Fabio Jakobsen set to lead the team's hopes for success.
After taking two stages and the points classification jersey at last year's edition of the Tour de Hongrie, Jakobsen will be hoping for a similar kind of result this time around. Alongside the 26-year-old Dutchman will be a strong team that includes some top riders such as Tim Declercq, Yves Lampaert, Fausto Masnada, Michael Mørkøv and Casper Pedersen.
“We have a solid team for Hungary. Fabio will go for the bunch sprints, where he will rely on Michael, who we are happy to have back in action, and Casper, but also on Tim and Yves to control things," previews Soudal - Quick-Step's sports director Wilfried Peeters. "On the two stages featuring climbs, Fausto will be our man and try to do something. Overall, we are confident in our chances to get good results this week.”
