Esteban Chaves : "It's been a long time since I've raced a Grand Tour, and this one is special,"

Colombian rider Esteban Chaves is set to participate in Vuelta a Espana. He did not race in Giro d'Italia and Tour de France this season. He is excited for his first grand tour of the season.
"It's been a long time since I've raced a Grand Tour, and this one is special," says Chaves. He continues, "I'm excited to start La Vuelta. It has always treated me well, and we have a very good team this year. It will be my first grand tour with EF Education-EasyPost," said Chaves,
He missed the last year’s Vuelta a Espana and this year’s Giro and Tour de France."This makes me a bit nervous. But on the other hand, it also gives me a lot of motivation and encourages me to race the best I can. We have Rigo, Hugh, and myself for the overall, and we will never rule out a chance to win a stage, not only with the three of us but also with the rest of the team," concluded Chaves.

If you consider there’s any future for this planet if everyone decides only to look after themselves or their kind, you haven’t given things much thought either. - I don’t know what the pay cut explains except that his recent results just weren’t that impressive for a team like Visma, he might have understood he’d possibly gain more from them long-term than the salary cut cost him. His previous salary was probably partly based on a receding Tour win with the team that « offered the structure » before they got access to big money.
