Elisa Longo Borghini to lead Trek-Segafredo in Tour de France Femmes

Trek-Segafredo has revealed its lineup for the upcoming Tour de France Femmes. The team is counting on Elisa Longo Borghini and Elisa Balsamo to lead the tour.
Van Dijk won the Baloise Ladies Tour last Sunday, and Van Anrooij earned herself the European Champion in the road and the time trial. Elisa Balsamo, the world champion, has won eight races this season, including two stage victories in Giro d’Italia Donne.
Elisa Longo Borghini is already in her best form and won the Women’s Tour just a few weeks ago will be aiming for GC in the tour with the help of her teammates Leah Thomas and Audrey Cordon-Ragot.

- A bit much to suggest that Pogacar is better than MvdP on most terrains. The only terrain Pogacar is clearly better is long climbs, on any other terrain they are pretty even except flat cobbles and short and steep climbs (max a few 100 mtrs) where MvdP is clearly better than Pogacar.Velovibes21-12-2024
